L. Guibas, Sensing, tracking, and reasoning with relations, IEEE Signal Processing Magazine, 19, 2, pp. 73-85, 2002.
Abstract:
This paper proposes a way to bypass traditional state estimation by reasoning directly with relations among objects of interest observed by sensors. These methods are appropriate in the context of energy-constrained sensor networks, especially when the network is used to obtain actionable information with hard latency constraints.
