R. Kolodny, M. Levitt, Protein Decoy Assembly Using Short Fragments Under Geometric Constraints, Biopolymers, 68 (2003), 2780285.
Abstract:
We use libraries of commonly observed fragments to generate protein decoys. Coupled with a descriminating energy function, decoys are useful for predicting protein structure. We show that this method works well for all alpha proteins, and is promising for alpha and beta proteins.
