Abstract:

In this paper, we present a distributed algorithm for managing multiple-identity in wireless ad-hoc sensor networks. We propose the Identity-Mass Flow(IMF) framework to get over the combinatorial complexity in managing multiple-identity explicitly. The IMF framework provides the flexibility of updating the global identity information using only the local/marginal information. The ideal algorithm to exploit the local information is formulated in a Bayesian way and the approximate method using the Iterative Scaling is presented. The whole algorithm can be efficiently distributed and its simulation results are provided to demonstrate the power of this framework.
